These straight tip or short straight tip cannulae are available with different tip designs, wire-reinforced and non-reinforced tubing, different connector options, and an optional phospholipid coating.    

They are designed to provide:

• High flow rates
• Low resistance
• Easy handling during insertion

SORIN OPTIMIZED FLOW CANNULAE

Optimized Flow cannulae are crafted with a three-dimensional basket tip for better dispersion of the flow into the blood path, thus improving hemodynamics.

This unique feature provides a native-like blood flow and avoids the so-called jet stream, thus reducing the risk of plaque dislodgement.

Sorin Optimized Flow cannulae are available in 21 and 24 French, with or without wire-reinforced tubing and optional luer lock for venting.
