TAILORED TO SUIT YOUR NEEDS
Sorin offers a broad range of venous return cannulae in a variety of configurations.
Venous return cannulae are available with or without pre-attached connector as:
- Dual Stage
- Triple Stage
- Single Stage
All versions have been refined with thin tubing in order to maximize flow rates.
An optional phospholipid coating helps to improve biocompatibility.
If available, the coated version has a B before the code – e.g.:
- V112-40 = not coated code
- BV112-40 = coated code
Additionally, Sorin offers the Optiflow Venous Return Cannula, designed for atrial caval cannulation during gravity or vacuum-assisted venous drainage.
FEATURES
DUAL STAGE VENOUS RETURN CANNULAE
- Designed for venous drainage in the right atrium and in the vena cava with a single cannula.
- Available with low profile tubing to provide maximum visibility of the surgical site without compromising the flow.
- Wire-reinforced or non-reinforced tubing
- The wire-reinforced tubing version is a one-piece construction with a flexible drainage basket and a flexible, yet firm lighthouse tip.
- The non-reinforced version is configured with either rigid or flexible drainage tip.
TRIPLE STAGE VENOUS RETURN CANNULAE
- Wire-reinforced tubing with or without connector
- A third point of drainage ensures optimal flow performance
- The innovative distal tip is softer, yet it adds rigidity to eliminate collapse during vacuum- assisted procedure.
SINGLE STAGE VENOUS RETURN CANNULAE
- Straight or right-angled tip
- Wire-reinforced or non-reinforced tubing
- The wire-reinforced tubing eliminates kinking due to twisting of the cannulae during the procedure.
- The non-reinforced version is made with kink-resistant, flexible PVC
OPTIFLOW VENOUS RETURN CANNULAE
- Designed for atrial caval cannulation, these cannulae provide favorable results during gravity venous drainage or vacuum-assisted techniques.
- A one piece swirled and grooved tip with multiple holes improves the drainage regardless of the heart's position
